The Westin Anaheim Resort is an 8-story resort hotel that includes 618 guestrooms, 42,000 SF of Ballroom/Meeting Space, 30,000 SF or Restaurant and Retail Space, Pool, Spa, Fitness Center and a Rooftop Bar. The project incorporates multiple sustainable design features including energy recovery, variable refrigerant flow systems, daylight dimming lighting controls, efficient flow domestic water systems and much more.
Key systems include high-efficiency VRF heat pumps in each hotel unit, central energy recovery rooftop air-handling units, makeup air systems, kitchen exhaust, general exhaust, multiple exhaust systems for toilets, dryers, kitchen and garage, central DDC building automation system, normal and electrical power systems, high-efficiency domestic water heaters, domestic water circulation and advanced lighting controls.
