The Green Valley Ranch School is a new construction project comprised of 4 initial buildings – 3 Classroom Academies and a Student Union Building (consisting of Administration Offices, Gymnasium, Locker Rooms, Music Rooms, Stage, Kitchen, Cafeteria and common space) – with future expansion planned into the design.
The facility is conditioned by a renewable energy system made up of Make-up Air, Energy Recovery Ventilation and a Geothermal Heat Pumps. There are in excess of 100 heat pumps supplied by a horizontal field of over 300 trenches that run underneath the athletic field and surrounding areas. The HVAC systems are demand controlled by Occupancy and CO2 sensors.
E Cube provided LEED Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning services beginning in the Design Phase through the Occupancy Phase. E Cube will provide Monitoring & Verification services after the commissioning stage is complete.
Systems commissioned by E Cube were the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing consisting of Packaged Heat Pumps, MAU, Geothermal Field and Pumps, ERV’s, VFD’s, Cabinet/Unit Heaters, Exhaust Fans, Electric Radiant Panels, Chemical Treatment, HW Heaters, DHW Pumps, Lighting and Controls, BAS and Utility Monitoring.
